Our knowledge of Pest Control & Fumigation

We emphasise that correct identification of pests and knowledge of their development and behaviour are very important in pest management. Misidentification and lack of information about pests lead to use of improper control methods or incorrect control timing. These are the most frequent causes of pest control failure. Therefore in our pest control management that we are proposing we will focus on controlling all insects, pests and rodents.

How we do it

For example we offer the services of controlled Atmosphere (Organic Fumigation) to Outspan Enterprises at Bwaise on organic Sesame seed for Export in both container fumigation and bubble. The bubble is a special plastic rectangle bag to accommodate about 18 – 36 Mts and is supposed to be tight to keep/contain carbon dioxide gas or any other gas for long period during fumigation.

We have also designed for Olam Uganda Limited at Nalukolongo a 40FT container to be used as controlled Atmosphere storage for fumigation of organic cocoa. In the 40FT container, we lay gas distribution systems, feeding in-let for Co2 , installation of gas concentration reading (Manometer) heating centre and gas cylinder stand for smooth flow of Co2 gas during fumigation after stuffing the product and properly sealing the container.
